A poem I wrote

Elemental it is

To gaze beyond the skin

Pass the diverse colours

Catching a glimpse of the under

The tamed obsession

The restrained infatuation

Of the most sacred part within

Can yet only be seen

When the layers have been peeled

Revealing the only true colour

White and brown and orange

Black and yellow also in the range

Opposites do attract

With me, it's a tremendous impact

Caucasians speak to me

Setting my heart full of glee

But so too do the others

All of which are none the less

Chindians and Eurasians

Lebanese and Europeans

There are far too many

Listing all would be far too crazy

Thrives, the attraction

On a multitude of reasons

Interesting cultures

Dazzling looks

Flexible minds

Fairly divine

I wonder

Are these good enough a factor?

Cultures are absorbing

But Truth is far more enticing

What good are interrelations?

If Truth isn't their breath

If Love isn't their bread

If Bliss isn't their water

Peace and joy

Inside you, I fumble with coy

What good are romances?

If Lust conquers bones

Subjugating every zone

What good is dreamy devotion?

If Fear captures blood

Crafting miseries of floods

What good is tender love?

If Hate seizes spirit

And you're the only culprit

I look for a relationship of no other

Of one which is deeply-seated

In spellbinding compassion

Fed by a zealous passion

Marinated in a flaming fashion

That which is mind-blowing

Like air in the wind, only flowing

The extraordinary, I vigorously seek

Magic overtaking boundaries

The sages and mystics

The hermits and non-pragmatics

Astounding, overwhelming

The unduly heat, the calling fire

Of a burning desire

To hold onto the dancing flames

To catch the flying veins

They amplify, we dominate

Come, let us perpetuate

Dormant seeds within us both

The love, the fiery craze

Set free the shiver in your spine

Cleanse your beautiful eternal mind

Come, let us twine like everlasting vine
