HELLO FRIENDS I AM NEW TO THIS CIRCUIT! BUT I FEEL I HAVE SOMETHING TO CONTRIBUTE!!
Race? What race? Which race? What are we really! Arent we all human being? I believe very staunchly that we, humans, inhabiting different sectors of this planet which we call our home, which doesnt create any difference in the body parts and their functions, there is no difference in the composition of air we breath in, even the blood structure which run deep within us comprises of the same ingredients which the blood of the human in other part of the world, having the same group A A+ A-, B B+ B-, O O+ O-, AB+ etc. Its we who really create this racial differences not the nature which create us equal in all respects. It is not that an African, Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, German or for that matter any one individual goes and resides in any of the countries besides his own he will be different in any way except for ethinical values. He will remain a human and thats all what should matter. Color is only skin deep, the color of a black man or an Indian or for that matter of any other person may differ apparently but the flesh is always red as the blood which coats it.
So why should there be racial difference, I wonder when will we understand and accept that the world is a beautiful place to live in, and we all are human beings first and then anything else.

Tue, October 18, 2005 - 8:13 PMwhat does it matter, if people listen to what you are saying or not Redh. You must believe in yourself, actually we cannot thrust our opinion on others, only "time", which is expensive commodity now a days, can bring people around to join us on a common platform.
So lady go preaching, and practicing God Made us, He shall Unite us, for we are His lost sheep.

Re: Does color really matter?
Sun, October 23, 2005 - 11:20 AMJoe when I encounter African-American (mostly) women who ask me why I'm dating a Caucasian lady I respond by saying I'm trying to correct a man-made mistake (which really isn't true because I date my girlfriend because she's a nice person and we get along). What I hope she (or he) might pick up from my answer is the fact that had not man intervened with his racial bull*hit, interracial dating would be as common as the earth we walk on. It is man who arbitrarily made these divisions and untimately it will be man who has to bring them down.
"R", dude you have such insight. I think you are right we are going to a class society. It won't be long before there are just the "haves and the have-nots" and it's not going to matter what color the "haves" are. I'm going to stray from the thread a bit here but I think in the not so distant future corporations will take on the function of governments. Remember the saying from back in the day, "What's good for General Motors is good for America"? Keeping us (the poor and middle class) divided is the way the wealthy can continue to consolidate their power. -

Has anyone read the book entitled "Blink"?? A co-worker recommended it to me. She said it's all about how we form quick opinions about things.

I feel we must be very truthful to our own selves, I cant understand why should there b any cause to lie or the hide the fact that we prefer a fair skinned person or a dark skinned person, both are human beings after all. Learning to accept the choice would simplify things for all of us. Its not that a fair lady would supreme in bed, or on a date, or a black colored lady is more sexier, more vulptuous than the other, here I think, its your own inhabitions which makes the sex act happy enjoyable and ecstatic, the mutual understanding of need to satisfy the turmoiled emotions straining for release simultaneously is an achievement when both the partners relish each other company. Color really doesnt matter, for that matter neither does age. Frankness in relationship and romance be it interracial or racial would matter more than anything else.
