this is mainly for the women who are caucasian who are dating or have dated brothers in the past. i am curious to know if the brothers you all or were involved with ever listen to rock music at all. and if so, how much and what sub-genres? if you came across one that did, would you consider dating him? it is fairly difficult to find someone who into some of the music i am into even though i am living in southern california. the caucasian women i come across are very much into popular mainstream music (hip-hop, r&b, and soft rock) on radio and television. for some musical reference of what rock music i listen to in particular, check out my profile.

I have to say that musical tastes has not been an issue in any of my interracial relationships. I like rock (I'm a first generation headbanger) but I am quite fond of rap, hip hop and R&B, so I can fit in anywhere.

I do not listen to music all that often and when I do, it depends on my mood. I like, or can tolerate, just about anything.

I am always pleased to see a brother rock a la Hendrix (who is THE GOD), Living Color, Kravitz, Prince and my heart soars when such artists thrive.

    Does that answer your question?

One of the guys I have dated in the past was into country music. I enjoy most music, but classic rock is my all time favorite, so yes, if I were looking for someone right now I would definately consider someone who listen to rock.

I listen to a variety of music (dislike country immensely). Most of the men I have dated have listened to variety as well. I was pleasantly surprised when my last steady boyfriend listened to Godsmack because that is not a mainstream group. I am more apt to be interested in a guy if he listens to the music I listen to ie: Godsmack, 3 doors down, Crossfade, The Staind etc.. I enjoy listening to R&B but lately it's all sounding the same and I am just so bored with it. My latest interest is Dancehall.
