I'm probably over-reaching with this post, and I hope that I'm not, but it's usually not often that I get to hear of Asians indulging in interracial dating. Or could I be wrong?

Fri, December 28, 2007 - 7:23 PMNo philip i don't think you're over-reaching at all. A lot of ethnic groups are kinda not talked about when it comes to issues like interracial dating. But it does happen and the interesting thing is with specifically with straight relationships with Caucasians, there is a huge disparity between Asian men and women, meaning that asian women with white men are far more common than asian men with white women. I'm not sure why this is so or if this is the same amongst statistics of other races.
I'm actually trying to develop a short doc on sexual and romantic xxxperiences between asian men and non-asian women. -

Thu, March 13, 2008 - 11:46 PMHey Philip -- Being observant and an equal opportunity lover, I can relate to your comment. In fact, an occurrence perhaps as rare is an Asian lady with a guy of African descent. Once in a blue moon I do see these relationships and when i do I get my umbrella and I play the lottery. I work with many Asians and in casual conversations I have been led to believe that parents are the major influence in their dating preferences to the point of threats of disowning them if they become involved in such a relationship. Only time will change what we both observe.
